Greetings!
My name is Patrick Calija, I am a native bilingual German and English speaker with over five years of experience in delivering translation services.
I hold an associate degree in banking/finance from the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Over the past years, I have worked full time amongst other roles as a language specialist for major companies including BMW, NCR and AVAST, and have provided translation services to giants like Bosch and Pfizer, as well as for the Official Journal of the European Union, and international organizations, such as the European Commission.
While working on financial subject matter is my specialty, my experience ranges across a range of different subject areas, as can be seen through my attached resume and from a selection of the clients with whom I have worked.
I use the industry-leading CAT Tool SDL Trados Studio and undertake manual research into technical terms and abbreviations to ensure contextual accuracy and precision. All translations will be delivered in the same formatting as the original that I received (unless agreed upon differently).
