About:
- I'm a native Hongkonger with hands-on experience in translating between English and Chinese for some years, plus I'm a previous editor for a lifestyle magazine
- Your English text can be translated to/from Chinese/Cantonese (traditional/simplified) (繁/簡中文/廣東話)
- For Cantonese: It's the written form of a dialect and is commonly used in the daily conversations (e.g. instant messaging apps/social media platforms) among Hongkongers and Southeastern Chinese. Both Chinese and Cantonese are used in social media marketing in HK, with the latter targeting more at the native Hongkongers or younger generation
- Files like doc, txt, pdf, xls, srt are accepted
- All translations are done manually, always treated with 100% confidentiality and proofread to ensure accuracy and perfection
- My word choices, style and nuances in translations are carefully reflected on based on the intentions and target audiences of the texts
- Translations I've worked on: websites/apps/marketing materials/ads/reviews, manuals, contract terms, educational/cultural/travel/lifestyle articles, etc.
- I also provide proofreading/editing/transcription services, do check out my other gigs, thanks!

Seller's Response:
Thanks Connie for your fast and reliable service. Always a pleasure to work with you :)
:Very nice! Thanks!
:Great communication. My cantonese proofreader had to make multiple changes. Some English was literally translated verbatim instead of understanding the entire meaning and translating that way.
:There are translation differences between Traditional and Simplified Chinese (not just differences in the number of strokes). I would be glad if my translation was reviewed by a genuine Cantonese but not a Chinese who happens to know Traditional Chinese. Since they have different cultural contexts, people from Hong Kong (like me) or Taiwan can discern the differences immediately. And glad to know only minor changes was made as well. Thanks again! :)
:Excellent! Thank you very much!
